What it does
- Scan pages with automatic edge finding, many pages in a row, and blurry pages flagged for a retake.
- Import photos, PDFs and images, or open them in Hame Scan from Files, Mail and other apps.
- Clean up each page: crop, rotate, straighten, remove shadows, black and white, whiteboard and more, with brightness, contrast and sharpness. Undo any edit back to the original.
- Every page's text is read on your iPhone, offline and with no limit. Select, copy, correct and search it, or translate it with Apple's translation.
- Searchable PDFs with your choice of page size, margins, page numbers, file size, a password and your own watermark. Never stamped with our name.
- Export to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text, Markdown, JPEG or PNG, or one long image. Print, or save to Files or Photos.
- Sign documents: draw a signature or photograph one on paper, then place it. Mark up with pen, highlighter, text, shapes and stamps.
- Hide private details before you share, with suggestions for numbers, emails, addresses and dates.
- Page and PDF tools: reorder, move, extract, split, merge, put several scans on one page, and split a book's two-page spread.
- Handy tools: ID cards front and back on one page, business cards to contacts, receipts to a spreadsheet, passport photos (US and Canada sizes), and a QR and barcode scanner.
- Stay organized with folders, colored tags, full-text search, and Recently Deleted for 30 days.
- Lock the app, a folder or a document with Face ID or your passcode.
- iCloud sync, if you want it, and sharing a document through iCloud with people who can sign it and send it back.
- Widgets, Control Center, Siri and Shortcuts, and auto-save of every document to a folder you choose.
What it costs
Nothing. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscription, no account. No page limits and no watermarks.
Your privacy
Your scans stay on your iPhone. They go to your own iCloud only if you turn on sync, and to other people only when you share them. No analytics, no tracking, and Hame has no servers, so we never see your documents. Read the privacy policy.
